"Heads-Up" Display

Ok - I was thinking, would not it be cool to have a "Heads-Up" Display in my Raptor like I have in my Vette?

I know some of you have had the pleasure of a HID on your vehicle.

1) Do you think it would be cool?

2) Is it even feasible from a $$ and technical perspective?

Man, that would be cool in my mind - If they can install a front Camera why not a HID.

Thank about the possibilities? Yum Yum

You mean, HUD...not HID. HID's are headlights.

I think a FLIR system would be far more effective and cheaper, unless you're seriously only talking about displaying gauges on the windshield.

Personally I would love a Raptor with no ABS and no traction control.

Had it in my Pontiac grand prix GTP and loved it.

If you do not sit at the proper angle as deemed per engineers, you can not see the the HUD. Simple.

I would love it. It's adjustable. (atleast in the vettes) and i doesn't do anything if you don't use it. It's like heated seats; if you wanna use it, it's great. If you don't wanna use em, just don't.

Do not like huds, more annoying then anything else.

I would a HUD if the raptor came with guns and missles (I.e. f-22 raptor hud lol) then I could blow up freaking priusus, into bite size chunks.
