H I D bulb replacement

Holy chit the price of these things knocked me to the floor. It is a good thing I have a good rapore with the parts dept. at the local ford store and was able to get the price reduced about 25% or so. Even with that $150 is quite a bit for a bulb replacement, Bidenomics is not working for me. Got to pay to play so I pick it up tomorrow morning.

Used those crystalux bulbs for about 2 years before they were noticeable dim.

I've had good luck with them so far. Probably had them a year now

I was going to replace both until I was told the price, I can only afford one at this time. I hope it doesn't look lopsided with the new bulb.

Depending how old one is it might but may be only noticeable of you look hard enough lol

I decided to give these a try https://precisionled.com/shop-by-bulb/kepler-series-d3s-hid-to-led-conversion-kit/ as posted by a member of FRF. Waiting for delivery as I type this.

LED bulbs arrived on schedule and are being swapped out as soon as I post this


Took the Raptor for a test drive after it was dark out, I was pleasantly surprised by the light output and did not get flashed at by other cars. Far better lighting than the HID bulb and the LED should last longer according to the spec sheet, time will tell.
