The 35s are load range c while the 315s are load range d. I think the 35s are more intended towards jeeps and rock crawlers that don't weigh as much.

Load range C is good to 2500lbs per tire. So unless you plan om stacking an extta 4000 lbs of crap on yoir truck they'll be quite alright

When making my final decision, I compared goodyear specs for both. I only lose .1 height but i gain in width .2 in width. i went the safer route, plus they had more plys, which is never a bad thing

It's still a load range c tire with a max pressure of 35 psi. There's a reason why the door calls for a d and 42 psi.

The door calls for 44 and You know what else? I don't really give a shit. If Fords guidelines are the all-ruling gospel I guess we should all keep it on bottom perch and under 100.

the load rating of those 35's are low for some reason.
The 315/70's would kick the 35" tires a$$. Not sure why the 35" Kevlars are so soft and weak. Now; the 37" is beast.

Besides , the 315/70 is stronger and less money but only .1" shorter. Enjoy the 315's and wait for people to start complaining about the 35's being weak.

Also, the truck is rated to pull 8,000 lbs. Will a load C tire allow me to tow 8,000 lbs.?
I wanna JUMP while towing 8,000 lbs. Can a load C tire handle dat?

I'm thinking 37x12.5x17 on stock rims. It's 36.8" tall. What are the chances that will rub on the street?

I was not impressed with the street handling characteristics of my MT/R's. After 20K miles I changed to the Cooper Discovery Max ST, night and day street performance.
