Buying a used high mile Raptor

I am considering a 2012 Screw with 88k miles, what should I be looking for in terms of issues/possible problems with a higher mile Raptor.

Depends on who ur buying it from...

# 1 Frame tweaking, especially around the rear OEM bumpstop area

That's got to be a lot of highway miles for a 2012. Where are you considering purchase from and how much?

Also check the shocks for any leaking

I'd wanna see if there was a record of drivetrain (engine, transmission, differential, etc.) maintaince if one existed.

I would just run and fast away from it. There's plenty of low mileage Raptors out there

I agree with Greybeard. The price difference isn't huge between truck in the 50k area. There was a 12 red screw with 42k miles for 40kish in my area recently. I would go for lower miles!

Generally agree with all the above, but 88K aint all that much...unless your overpaying for it. Go for typical used car inspection of vehicle and records. If it looks beat, it was. I would also be expecting some pricy items around the 125K range, but mostly crap like alternator, waterpump, rotors, balljoints, tie rod ends, and as stated above shocks (they are pricy). Otherwise 88K wouldn't scare me too much. High mile classification, to me, wouldn't kick in until >135K in my book....and I have a GMC Yukon with alot more than that.
