Just Received the Lock!!!!!!!
And I have to say it's way BEEFIER Than Pace Edwards.
Can't wait to install when I have free time.

It's gonna be great having the Pace Edwards Electric Cover and Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock (tied into the front doors)
on Ford Gold Alarm 6 button key fob!!!!!

Yes it is, I started today to install it this morning
but got called in for work.
But was able to confirm that it fits perfectly.
I will buy some 3m foam for it, since it is only bolted on by one bolt.
And I do not want it shaking around. I will take pictures and post.

OK, came home from work and tried to finish before it got to late.
A few things I want to tell.

After bolting it tight I notice that it puts
some pressure on the whole system making it alittle snug to turn the key.
So far I'm not too worried, if I have to I will make a shim to raise it.
You need to run the short wire through the door first before bolting on the Pop & Lock.

Pop & Lock did not do great job of using the same color wires, and the
bullet connectors needed to be recrimped.

I did add the 3M foam on both sides of the Pop & Lock to stop any shaking!

They did not supply a schematic in the instructions so I did not power test it.
I know it's only two wirers but I'd rather be safe then sorry.
I will call them tommorow about that, and also let them know they made the bracket
a little sort in height.
I will have to wait for the weekend to finish the wiring to try it.

Just got off the phone with Pop & Lock today.
The two wires are reversable + & - 12v so to test it just run a hot from the battery and find a good ground.
Just do not hold the power to long, it will burn out the unit.

As for the key being tight it's recommended that you use a washer under the bracket.
They are looking into it. I will send a picture with a tape measure to them, since a Raptor is hard to find.
I will be making one that uses the whole surface 1/4" or more thick, I'll know better when I have time
to start again this weekend.

In the printed instructions it says to run the wires to the passenger side and find the pink wires well when I
look at the passenger side I could not find any pink wires but it was getting late anyway. When I ask them
about that they said to run them to the drivers side. Which is fine for me since I ran the Pace Edwards Electric
Cover wires to the drivers side through the hood release cable grommet to tie into the alarm anyway.
I might change this and just drill a new hole next to the hood release cable there is alot of space around this
area! Get a new grommet and run all four wires through it.

I started again late today, and you have to add a shim under the bracket I used a 3/16 piece of stock and made one.

Now the problem is finding the door lock wires, the instructions say
a pink with red and a pink with black on passenger side.

Well I opened up both sides and can not find any pink wires period.

Does anybody know if the Raptors use different color codes for the door locks?

Ok The Joker posted this I will try it

Here is a description of the Pace Edwards PowerGate. You can do a google search for similar products and prices.
FYI, the installation instructions give you the wrong wire colors, so I am told. Here are the correct colors:

Lock: gray/yellow
Unlock: purple/gray
They should be located behind kick panel near parking brake.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

OK I am back with the results, the wire code from The Joker is correct the Factory Alarm is tied into them!

The problem is that Pock and Locks solenoid is only two wire reversible hookup and will not work with the truck wires
both being positive feeds. I did question Pop and Lock about that on Friday and they said the truck does that on it's own. Ha are they wrong. I did try my light probe to test the feeds coming from the two wires, I'm glad I did you can't trust anybody. I could have brunt out the alarm or worse!

I did try a dry run direct from the battery and bracket raised and bolted down it works great and is not binding on the key .
I am not and expert but I have some common sense and some knowledge.

So for now I have to wait until Monday and call them.

I suggest holding off on buying this product until I get this straighten out.

Because if we have to run to the Ford alarm dealer to add a relay (if they even make one that works that why)
to make this work or buy a Ford door selenoid and modify this thing ourselves this product is not worth it.

Sure hoping that Pop and Lock will work something out like replacing the solenoid
to a three wire or a two wire feed with the bracket being the ground.
And correcting the bracket for the right height.

Hope to have an answer on Monday.

Yea, when I called them on friday they did not know that the printed instructions also said to go to the passenger side.

Basically,
Just toss the instructions in the garbage there is not one thing correct on it!

At least not for Raptors.

I also sent them full size pictures and told them to check the thread again.

the Tech person I spoke with is

I actually followed your writeup and put a washer under the bracket and some foam tape on the edge where it would rattle on the tailgate so thanks for that. Hopefully we can get the wiring sorted out Monday

I did a litle research today and came across a selenoid that looks like Pop and Lock's for $9.99

2 Wire Door Lock Actuator

The extra parts you may need is a relay which I am pretty sure is what we are going to need.

Since there aren't any 3 wire selenoids out there only 2 and 5 wire (5 wire for a light or relay built in),
at least none that I can find.

30 Amp Relay with Harness

at least it's $4.99 each we might need two of them.

If this is going to work and if this is the case, Pop and Lock should send this to us and include it in the kits.

My other suggestion is the truck must have this relay already because I believe that our door lock actuators are two wire as well.
The Gray/Yellow and Purlpe/Gray maybe the feeds to the relays (I'm just guessing here)

So it might be just a case of finding the right wires!!!!!

Crossing my fingers :)

OK, I think I did enough leg work !!!!!
