Same here for Indiana - Progressive. Guessing plates around $500-$600.

Oddly it is $25 cheaper than my 2019 F150 Lariat due to more safety features.

Insurance rates are kinda silly to discuss as there are SO many variables:

- Credit rating
- Location
- Driving record
- Longevity with insurance carrier
- Bundle with other products
- etc, etc, etc

One can pay $1000 per year and the person next door might pay $600 per year and a person in another state pays $350....same vehicle.

Why these rates are so different and driving is driving, and accidents happen. I could have an accident in MD or Montana. I guess its also varied upon how much it cost in a certain area to repair?

Tons of reasons:

Number of vehicles on the roads in the area, types of vehicles on the road area, % of uninsured motorists, crime rates, state insurance laws, etc

Risk factors aren’t equal from location to location and that all factors into the underwriting process.
