Anyone removed sides from stock bumper?

Just wondering what it would look like. I like the Jeep shorty bumpers like the one below. Trying to not buy a new bumper.

That front bumper is all one piece. Are you thinking of cutting it?

I imagine you could have it cut fairly cleanly and looking nice, but would take some work and possibly require repainting.

I actually think the sides do come off. N-Fab sells replacement sides that allow you to keep the center section. Unless N-Fab requires cutting? Description says bolts in place of stock...

Still, looks like that piece "7" would need to be removed. Not sure how well that would work out.

have mine laying around believe just have to remove couple bolts and support rod.

Thanks @jhsocal that is what I was looking for.

I like it without the sides, but it still needs a pipe to follow up under the lights I think.
