Ok so the sub has been compromised lol. I am now searching for a dual sub setup. Its been a long time since my car audio days in High School and about all I can remember is how to bridge an amp. Here are my amp specs:

CX1200.1 Specifications
RMS Power
@ 14.4V, 4Ω mono, ≤ 1% THD+N : 600W x 1
@ 14.4V, 2Ω mono, ≤ 1% THD+N : 1200W x 1

So I believe I need (2) 4 ohm single voice coil subs rated at 300 watts RMS OR

(2) 2 ohm dual voice coils subs rated at 300 watts RMS. Is that right?

Thanks for the help!

No sir, you are just a little off. In order to optimize your amps power output, you'll want to get 2 subs that can be wired together to form a 2 ohm load. You want the sub rated power to be 75% to 150% of their rated power. In you're case, look for 2 svc 4 ohm subs rated for 400 to 800 watts rms each like a jl audio 10w3v3-4, or 2 dvc 2 ohm subs rated for 400 to 800 watt rms like a kicker l7s82. Hopefully that can clue your ******* in on using your amp. :specialed:
