After market exhaust

Just saw this. They don't seem to like it and it is difficulty to tell on a computer how good is any exhaust. Anyone aware of other companies working on an after market exhaust for the gen II? I think whoever makes a good product, will sell a ton.

I personallly don't think it is possible to make an exhaust that sounds good.

You cant polish a ****. It's just some combo of the engine dynamics combined with the turbos in the exhaust stream, it just doesnt sound good unfortunately.

Agreed. Even the gnarliest of 6 pots don't sound all that great until they really get wound out... and the Raptor motor just doesn't spin that high.

I will be interested in seeing/hearing the results once there are downpipe upgrades available, though...

Yeah, and VR6 VW's sound good, as well as the 350z/infiniti.

Some engines just sound like shit.

The raptor reminds me of a high school kid putting pipes on a v6 toyota back in the 90s

A flat 6 is a totally different engine. Apples and oranges different.

I think the reason the Nissan 6 sounds a little better is the firing order.

Borla is working on theirs and should be available in a month or so, according to the response I got from them.
