2021 Gen 3 antenna recommendations….

Since I don’t enjoy hearing the antenna hitting my garage door….what’s the consensus on a good quality short antenna…I‘m the guy that still listens to broadcast radio so…good reception is appreciated….Cheers

Craven Speed Original Stubby. 25 bucks. Its about 3" tall. Unless you live way out in the boonies, reception will be good.

I’ve tried the stubby antennas and lose reception for AM (yes, there are folks who listens to AM… ). I just stick with the stock and, besides, it serves as a ceiling height feeler for garages.

I also went with the RYDONAIR 13” from Amazon.
I didn’t have the stock antenna on long enough to do a true comparison, but all my regular FM stations come in clean/clear and also HD.

Popped the ball off the top of mine, cut it to roof height, and glued the ball back on. Looks factory and works perfectly.
