Please do not shoot me, but I laid eyes on a 2021 blue Raptor this afternoon and for the most part, I’m not impressed. I think the interior has been cheapened when compared to the 2019, which I own. The carbon fiber is extremely disappointing and simply looks like cheap plastic. The seats inside the blue Raptor I sat in today, is also a downgrade. I have a code orange 37 801a scheduled for delivery December 6-12, so I was told. After it arrives, if I do not like it, I will still purchase it, but I will flip it. The deposit is refundable. I will wait to make the final decision until after I see the vehicle. I will pay a 5k ADM, plus tax. If I do not like it, I will sell it for $20k above MSRP. THAT IS THE DON’T SHOOT ME PART. After tax and ADM, I figure I would clear about 8k. If someone is interested DM me. Attached is the sticker.
man seems like a lot of hassle....might not get 20k above msrp.....even in NJ I could buy at any dealer for that much or les for an on the lot truck and would be original owner, can do trade in, etc.......plus you would technically need to pay capital gains tax on the 20k and probably not make much given taxes, reg, etc.

I don’t see the point? Smart guy is paying $5k over MSRP then trying to find a bigger dummy to buy it?

More power to him but this thread belongs in the classifieds section.
You are close but it belongs in the trash bin.

Dallas, the metro plex, Austin, but certainly not central Texas. Central Texas is flat, ugly and full of bugs! Just because people in California flee to Texas, it is a tax haven……..on paper…..for tax purpose…..nothing else. Tulsa, Toyota, think! Similar to an off shore account, but legal. Texas is a tax haven for people that make money, but unlike Florida, most wealthy people live elsewhere.
I can hit 60 MPH if I put my truck in neutral in front of my house before I run out of road. That is impressive acceleration on a flat surface.

Haha….. a parking lot with a speed bump is hill county in Texas. I am just attempting to make a point. Different strokes for different folks. Just because I may sell a truck for more than it is worth to some people, those people may think it is worth the price. Who cares?? Take a deep breath and relax, it’s nobody’s money but the person that may or may not buy it. The comments this thread instigated is insane. The people that did not agree with the sale and/or purchase had to get personal and go on the attack. It’s called capitalism, if some of you want socialism, go for it. I do not care and you should not care if I buy a truck and sell it to someone that wants it. I have news for the Texan that said it is ridiculous, I can sell it now…..if I had it, which I do not. I realize the narrow minded will attack, like the moron that told me to follow through with my commitment to purchase it. Really…… I will purchase the truck, how could I sell it otherwise. I know this may be over a few of your heads but during the housing crisis a lot of people flipped homes, me included. I made a ton of money doing it. Read the first entry I wrote on this thread. I do not expect anything and do not shoot me. I am use to the attorney digs, so save the blue collar jokes. XE paid for law school. Yes, I was an XE (for the illiterate, Blackwater) contractor and made money doing it. I can spend it the way I want and I can also earn it by selling a truck…….If I want. It doesn’t affect any person but the buyer or purchaser. BTW, I do own property in the Lone Star state, but I would never live there because I can afford not to.
For a guy that
1. Owns a Porsche turbo
2. Can afford NOT to live in Texas
3. Has a law firm that makes him enough money he can have dogs bite him all day.

I find it somewhat comical that you'd waste your time making about $5k. You must not actually value your time to make a small amount of money for the actual time you'd be putting in. For a profession that bills by the minute, your time must not be worth that much.

Anywaysssss to each their own. I love my raptor. Got it for MSRP. Drive it more than any of my other cars (I'm no Porsche driving attorney).

1. I own a home in Texas, it is a tax investment.
2. I will know within 24 hours if I like the truck.
4. Actually it will be more like $9600 profit
5. $5300 tax…$100 registration =$5400+$5000 ADM=$10400
$20000 over MSRP=$102930
Total cost to me =$93330
$102930-$93330=$9600 profit.
6. It took less than 15 minutes to advertise
7. $9600/15=$640 per minute
8. I do value my time
9. Maybe you should go back to third grade! ((YOU STARTED IT))
10. I hope I do like it, I have already ordered a lot of things for it, but if I do not,
Anywaysssss, it is sold!
