2013 Windshield Issues

Is it just me or do the newer Ford vehicle windshields chip too easy? My 2011 Raptor never had a chip. My 2013 has 3 already. My wife's 2013 Explorer has same issue.

Interesting, I haven't had that, but my windshield is scratched all to hell from wiping the mud off the windshield with my wipers the other day. I was kinda shocked how easily it scratched. Could be the type of mud, but I never had that issue with my 205k mile tundra.

I just got a stress crack in my 2013 windshield. Ford is replacing it.

I had a chip in my 2013 within 4 month of owning it. I know chips CAN happen to any windshield but would be different if many other '13 owners are experiencing the same thing while others are not.

Most if my chips are coming from leftover sand from snow storms.
