GEN 2 13.6V Normal?

Fellas -

Thanks for all the help and tips lately. As you may have deduced by now, I'm chasing down some electrical gremlins after a shop installed some accessories for me (Lowrance and Kenwood).

I was playing around with the Lowrance, and had it display the voltage on screen. I expected to see a solid 12, but the voltage was between 13.4 and 13.6 the entire time.

Is this normal?

The Lowrance is working just fine -- just figured there's someone on here who may know.

That’s normal voltage when the alternator is charging the system.

Shouldn't be unusual to see even up to 14.5
