So I hook a trailer with an electric jack up all the time and I got tired of doing the chicken dance with the key inside BS, so I bought one of these

All you need to do is move the brown wire over one slot to the 12V wired and you are good to go!
The brown wire will throw power with the truck running, the key fob in my pocket while I am at the rear bumper and the door open...
So if you want constant 12V back there while the truck is running for something else just build a wiring harness and using the 4 way flat and brown wire....
