Something’s not adding up with that story. Interstates warranty varies between battery models but at the very least they offer full replacement within 18 months of purchase, and then scaled replacements for remainder of terms. The MTZ battery I listed has FULL replacement warranty for the whole...
All the power specs for this battery seem better than comparable batteries from other manufacturers. I’ll probably go with it pretty soon. Not sure I understand what you’re saying about the warranty but this interstate battery has a 48month replacement warranty. That’s good enough for me.
Thinking of going with a larger 49/H8 for my truck. Have always had Interstate batteries and nothing bad to say. Anyone see anything good or bad about this battery?
Seems to be same dimensions as the Duracell others are using. Also measured the tray and appears it will fit...
I believe I took it in to be “diagnosed” and then took it back in once the replacement parts were in. Actual repair was 1 day, picked it up next morning. No leakage or issues since.
Here’s a photo of mine. Not the greatest photo, but problem looks exactly like your photos. Looks like exact...
On these trucks it involves removal of the entire sunroof (headliner, and both pieces of glass) and is NOT just cosmetic. I was fully expecting to have issues after the repair but going on almost 2 years and all is good. New sreal looks exactly as you’d expect it to with no gaps.
I had the same exact issue on my 2022. Dealer replaced the seal under warranty. They said it’s been common and have done a few. There’s an updated seal that they are using for replacement.
Saw this today and figured it’s fitting to post here. When he says full bump stop he’s talking a 35 truck. So if you have 37s on a 35 truck be careful.
Nothing too helpful to add but when you say 30 miles a day 3/4 highway it leads me to believe that’s to a from work? So I’d imagine under 15-20 minutes of run time each way? It’s not the mileage but the run time that will provide the proper charge. I don’t think 15 minute drives will help keep...
Might be that you actually have a low SOC. Charge the battery or go drive it for awhile. Pretty sure you’ll need to drive for more than 30 minutes continuously to make any real impact on charging the battery. The auto updates will use battery power and might have drained your battery. The low...
Might be too late but keep the key fob far from the truck so it isn’t able to communicate with each other while you have the tailgate unplugged. Rear cameras or sensors will need to be recalibrated by dealer otherwise.
Yes, there are specific chargers for AGM (as well as lithium, acid, etc). I have a Noco Genius 10, it has settings for most types of batteries as well as 12v and 6v.
I do the 1x a month maintenance charge and then will also charge it if I’ve been leaving the doors open while working on /...
That’s the cause right there. Short trips like that will not recharge the battery and are not enough to offset the draw. I have the same issue. Grab a battery tender and give it a full charge 1x a month.
Add me to the squeaky club. Been a couple of months like this, not too optimistic about the dealership doing anything to take it in for just that. I too have been holding out for a gen3 specific race series shock from Fox but there hasn’t even been rumors of that being released anytime soon...
I was getting constant deep sleep mode due to low battery charge level. Battery would get down to 11.8v regularly even after charging. Took it to local dealer and they tested the battery and found it to be ok. Problem is they tested voltage right after driving it. Most will tell you a battery...
Same experience as everyone here, but they didn’t even look at the weight certificate. My dealer submitted paperwork to Ca DMV, I believe they fill out weight on the form. Got a letter a month or so after from DMV to come in and complete registration (smog and pay taxes/fees). If dealer submits...
I’ve been skimming the posts and haven’t seen much in this. Ideally I’d want to do race series upgrades but nothing available yet.
Has anyone done the eibach 1” fronts with the 1.5” rears? Pictures? Trying to get some lift but not negatively affect ride too much. Also looking to keep the...
Anyone have any intel on race series shocks being released specifically for the gen3? I know covid and economy probably play a role in this, but 3-4years in and still nothing? Or are they not able to get any appreciable gains over stock?
I know it’s not just Fox, last I saw Icon was getting...
Ya I looked at the pivot but wanted to keep the rack as close to the tailgate as possible when not in use. So far so good, although I did really like the just overall.
I use my 1up rack daily and it actually never comes off the truck. Great rack. It’s nice loading the e-bikes and not having to awkwardly lift them over the tailgate using a mat.
Best part is that it folds down so you can open the tailgate. I had a Kuat before and it wouldn’t clear the...
Truly asking because I’m not very knowledgeable on this. Why are the HP numbers higher with a E85 tune? Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen @GooseTuned mention it’s safe to add a couple (?) gallons of E85 to a regular tank for some added performance (without needing to tune for it).
When you say SAT coverage are you talking about the trucks stock navigation system? If so, your not out of SAT (GPS) range, the trucks system just isn’t meant for that. Get yourself a Garmin inreach to use as a GPS beacon and download a mapping app like Gaia to your tablet. Simple setup like...
I ordered some Motorcraft prediluted yellow coolant to top of my truck today. Problem is that the truck seems to have a orange colored coolant from the factory in it and the new yellow is a fluorescent yellow in color. Any ideas if that could be an issue using the new stuff to top it off...
