Dug around and didn't see a thread on this... But my rear window defroster/heated mirrors quit working this past winter. The heated seats quit at the same time, but that was an easy fix with a new module that I had replaced 5 years earlier. I had my 100k service this month and asked the tech...
Well, looks like my 2014 SCREW with 75k miles on it has a transfer case issue. I took it in for what sounded like a whine in rear-end or rear axle bearing issue and they are saying that is is the transfer case. It wouldn't go into 4L this past summer, so i suspected IWE leaks but don't know...
I think it runs around $800+. $85-$100 part and 6hrs labor I suspect. The easy one is $400. The main blend door behind the console is $1200. They have to drain the A/C lines is what I was told by a Ford Tech at the dealer 2 weeks ago. [emoji35]. Apparently it is becoming VERY common. They get...
I think for me it is actually the recirculation door. When I hit the re-circ button or max a/c nothing happens. Still brings in outside air and I think the actuator is fine but the post that drives the door open and closed when the actuator turns is what actually broke off. You pretty much...
Fixed, thanks.

Oh, mine is more than a mild rate/hum. It sounds like a jet engine inside the cab past 2 on the fan speed.
So I cranked up the truck the other day and hit the Auto A/C button and all of a sudden, I hear this horrible vibration/rattle/hum noise from under the passenger side foot well. I figured the fan motor cage broke off or something, so I took it out and found a little rubber bushing sitting...
I tried 3.

Weird, I know I have watched one in something. LOL. Maybe it was my old Lexus IS350. I can’t recall, at this point. But thanks. Thought it was broke.

One of my children wanted to watch a movie (DVD) on the screen the other day while I was parked in a carpool line for 30 minutes or so and no matter what I did I kept getting the Disc Read Error and then an eject of the discs. I know this worked a few years ago, when I bought the truck. I...
I accelerate hard most of the time, but just don't stomp on the brakes once I reach a normal speed. I pretty sure it was the Ricky Bobby wanna be pit crew when the rotated my tires last time.

Hmm... I...
So not sure if the factory rotors are just that bad or the guy that rotated my tires last time thought he was a nascar pit crew dude and just really over torqued the lugs to a point that it would warp these out. Has anyone else seen the stock rotors get warped fairly easily? I am not braking...
I have the same thing. It sounds like a faint dog whistle or little super charger spooling up. It only does it under light throttle. I have a K&N, so maybe it is just enough air being pulled in with the right amount of pressure to make a slight whistle.
Sorry for not following up sooner, but did want to let everyone here know that about 3 months ago they were finally able to reproduce the issue. They had the truck on a rainy day and it took about 6 hours. After working with corp tech, they pinned the issue to a faulty Steering Angle Control...
The only way to truly address the issue is to not use leather and foam that crushes under use. All of my luxury sports cars with real leather did the same thing, so it is not just a Raptor or Ford issue. The only vehicle that did not have this issue was my last Lexus IS. It used a synthetic...
Still getting this issue after applying a silicone seal. Anyone know where I can the larger gasket by itself? I can see how they didn't do a good job aligning it up at the factory and how moisture can get in. Can try and rip the old gasket off and do proper alignment job on the gasket...
What tire pressure do you run? I have had 2 sets of the same tire on my previous truck, 31.5" that both lasted about 40k miles. I run the stock set on 14 SCREW at 42-43 psi (cold) for everyday road driving.
Will check out the light when I get some free time in the next week or so. Between it being cold and travel I will have to manage it via restart. Would be cleaner to use a thicker foam gasket than silicone for sure. Does anyone have any pictures of the new "thicker" gasket that is resolving...
Hi Crystal. I took it to the dealership already and they couldn't reproduce the issue. I can't do it on demand either. With that being said, I am fairly confident in saying that it only happens when it has rained a lot and when I am turning. The local dealership said they had never seen or...
I've had the issue on mine. Less than a 1000 miles. Has happened 6 times since 30 miles. Always when wet and slightly turning on an incline.
