So I thought of this the other day just didn't know how to do it. Came up with this today. Use a wedge system with a bracken unversial mount.

I traced the little insert, and then cut a 2 x 4 to size. I disassembled the bracken mount and only used he swivel point. Drilled out the hole a little bit for the wood screw go threw. Paddle drill bit to indent the mounting point into the 2 x 4.

will add some black paint to it latter on, and put the insert back in.

Thats nice.

Here is my set up. This only works with the Nexus phones, they have built into the phone wireless charging. These Wireless chargers have a strong magnet in them that holds the phone, so I just slap it on there and my phone is charging plus its in good line of sight to look at. I am really happy with it. Unfortunately I can only take a picture of the charger and not the phone on it as thatch my camera. I just need to get a longer cord so i can tuck it away.

That is slick. This is for the Nexus 5? How is it mounted to the dash? I am trying to decide between the Nexus 5 and the Moto X. I think this may tip the scales a bit...
