At the very least I'd see if the dealer can print the entire service history. That way when you go to sell it to the next guy they won't be scared off with it being a lemon for something as simple as a tailgate latch.

I'd also check into insurance and with the bank if you're planning to finance. Some banks might not finance a lemon.

I think you could find a new 2023 right now for around the same price. The market is soft right now.

If you dont need 37 pkg & recaros - keep hunting. Dealer in IA just sold a brand new (only option was MR) 35 pkg for 76k.

Just bought a pretty loaded new 35 in Avalanche, a month ago, for 78.5k. Was $4100 off sticker.
I’m in western PA.

Yea I’m working a deal on a dealer demo that has 6k on it. 82.5. Which still seems like a lot.

78.5 is A LOT for that. You can shop around, get a new 35, throw on some 37's and not have to deal with that.

It's not a 78.5 truck. it's a 68k MAX

There’s a 35 truck that someone put 37s on (factory 37pp wheels and tires) would that be a good purchase? Something about fitting the 37s on that truck I don’t care for. But it’s low miles and has the recaros. I’d prob put 35s back on

There’s a 22 dealer demo I really want but they will not budge off 80k. It really bugs me that managers get to get whatever truck they want, over pay and then it’s our problem.

Seems a little ridiculous a tailgate issue can cause a buy back..

Do some searching but there is no issue running 37s (especially factory takeoffs) on a 35 Gen3
