23 Ford buy back-purchase

Looking for input/validation/knock on the head.

Dealer has a 23 AMB 37pp w/ recaros that has 12k on it. Was a buy back (California) for the tailgate latch. At least that’s what the ppwk states.

The truck is $78.5 and I’m getting 30k for my gen1 trade. Still has 2 years on the warranty.

How far yall running from a buy back?

How long do you plan to keep it? Resale will be terrible, even if it is just the tailgate latch. Keep that in mind.

I’ve had my gen1 for 4 years. I plan on keeping this for the same if not longer. It’ll be my last ICE vehicle hold out

I’d squeeze every penny out of them possible if you’re going forward with the purchase

That price seems steep for a lemon

No matter what. When you sell this truck in the future it's going to be labeled a lemon. Just be careful with that

78.5 is A LOT for that. You can shop around, get a new 35, throw on some 37's and not have to deal with that.

It's not a 78.5 truck. it's a 68k MAX

Echoing what others have said, that’s way too much for a lemon. That’s mid range pricing for any used 37PP right now, let alone a buy back. Dealer needs to come down about $10,000 imo
