Except the statement was about release in 2021, not this year. I believe the Bronco Sport is coming out in Dec. 2020, with all the other models coming in 2021.

I'm not trying to say that the Raptor will definitely come out in 2021, I'm saying that if testing today means 2021 Raptor is not possible, then you would have to conclude testing Bronco today means no 2021 Bronco release either.
But if you go on the Ford build and price site you can build, price and order a 2021 Bronco. There is no 2021 Raptor on the build and price site.

there is NO 2021 Raptor. Shooting for a 2022 model. Could be next summer or fall, but NOT 2021 "model", regardless of when its available.

Maybe that's why most dealers are asking at least MSRP on 2020 models. And of course some are wanting more. Will there be a Scab in 2022? Those are hard to find now.

It is believed that the SCAB is no longer an option.

A couple weeks ago the dealer I bought my 2020 from had 5 2020 802A SCREWs for $1K under invoice. Now they only have 2 left, but they are still $1K under invoice.

It's known to not be an option in MY2021. But the Raptor is strongly suspected not to be an option in MY2021. MY2022? Anybody's guess. It could make a comeback.

Very true and I own a SCAB loving the body style myself. That said, I am guessing it makes up about 5-10% of the yearly orders and being a specific configuration only available in our trucks, it makes sense on why it may be discontinued.

Well there’s rumors of a Bronco Raptor. And I don’t think that’s coming in 2021.

it’s all speculation now and everyone is entitled to their speculative opinion. Mine is that there won’t be a 2021 F150 Raptor. My feelings won’t be hurt if I end up being wrong.

The Bronco Raptor is a good point. I'm not saying speculation is wrong, I'm just saying if you're going to justify your speculation based on the facts we do know, then it should match facts consistently. You can't claim testing now means no 2021 Raptor, when we see a Bronco being tested that is coming out in 2021....unless the Bronco tested is a version we don't know of yet or something of that nature.

That's not definitive proof. Obviously, if 2021 Raptor was no the site, it would be proof that it is, but the absence really only says we don't know.

So if a Raptor is released in the summer of 2021, it's a 2022 model? Is there some rule regarding release date and what model year it must be classified to?

I think that does bring up a good point though. I would think Ford would want the Raptor model year to closely match the F150, coming out early if necessary. What I mean is that if Ford were to release a 2022 in say Oct 2021, they would not want to release a 2021 Raptor in Aug 2021. That would mean that the F150 would be appear to be the more advanced model after oct 2021. It would make more sense to just go ahead and call the Raptor 2022, even if it's mid 2021, just so you don't end up selling a 2022 F150 and 2021 Raptor at the same time.

I know that trail very well. HMU if you ever want to caravan out there. I might be going this Saturday, though I might just use my Raptor to pull my SxS and take it up the hill. Still debating

Nice video but that drop off is crazy!! Way past my comfort zone.....
