It just depends mine went in and they fixed but failed to notice a cracked cam gear (manufacturing defect) so the motor shut itself down and had to be towed. The paid for everything even a dodge from national rental at 160 a day. Total days at shop around 20

Had mine back within 48 hrs. Dropped it off in the am and picked it up the next afternoon.

How long will it take for 10 more threads on the Cam Phaser to show up?

Had my 17 in the shop for a two changes of cam phasers and tensioners. Took them two days, once they got the parts, to do mine both times. Had the Phasers changed at 38k miles and again at 43k miles, this time with tensioners.

Just got my 2018 back from the dealer this morning. They had it for over a month. This is what they replaced.
