Bought a 2017 SCAB CPO with the 802A , + few other factory upgrades about a month ago, give or take.

It has 25K miles , perfect condition , other than the rattle at cold start , which I've never made an issue with the dealer about...

See now they have a new 2019 SCAB 800A stripper for 52K a bit off MSRP.

My dilemma: do I give up all the upgrades for the 2019 stripper & over 10K in upgrades , for a brand new '19 SCAB stripper ?

Kinda know what I want do , thinking they would make the deal ,but interested in what Forum thinks.

I have a 2019 SCAB 800a with 800 miles. I love my truck, but there are a lot of subtle differences like the 8" productivity screen, Home Link, power folding mirrors.
I don't know all of them as I have never owned an 802a. You need to drive the 2019 to see if its to your liking. I could not do it here in California, because of the loss of the tax and fees that would have to be again.

Agreed , if I was looking to trade w the same stealership , why on earth why I make any skink at all?

Not "their" problem vs. "there's" a problem is grammar issue u have to deal with .

Just looking for opinions , not an argument...

couple months ago I was in same boat and still think about it. I daily drive my truck so figured I would probably miss the comforts/features of my 802a. I know the wife would. Debated just getting the 800a just to build up and beat the hell out to be honest and daily drive a Camry or something. Only thing holding me back is I bought my truck to drive a bad ass truck with all the bells and whistles and take it off road and have it get me back home. Wife told me I could get a gen 1 and have best of both worlds in a year or so. Thats my plan for now, so guess it just depends on why you want an 800a vs what you got now.

Even swap? I would do it.

1) The creature comforts Ford offers are crud and not worth the $10k premium.

2) Your 17’ is a time bomb. From the rattle to the oil pan.

3) The 19’ shocks and new warranty, offset the crud 802A upgrades of the 17’.
