Thanks TK85. Any need for upgraded bov or oil catch cans?
I have the turbosmart bov along with the hot catch can. The bov sounds awesome and I heard that the mechanical bovs can handle the higher boost better than the factory one. The jlt catch can is a nice simple design and install as well. I empty it every oil change so it works as intended

So is the MPT is now available in the cobb accessport for the 19s?

It is not even available for my '17. So I doubt it is available for any Gen 2 Raptor. I just received my nGauge from MPT.

Per MPT on 6/13/19:

"The nGauge is the only option at this time. The COBB Accessport is not available yet. If you go to the product page, you will see that you can’t add it to the cart. It is in development, but there is no ETA."

Anybody heard of jb4 tune from burgertuning.com

I'm running the JB4 now. Not same same as full tune. It does definitely add performance boost, but doesn't vover all the bases a good tune would. You get a very tune-able boost module that doesn't leave an easily seen "signature" in the ECM since you're not flashing the it. (There are a couple of threads on it here in FRF)

All I can give you for comparison (oranges to grapefruit) is: I ran an SVC tune when I had my Gen-1. The SVC tune woke the Gen-1 up a lot more than the JB4 does for the Gen-2 - but by being an actual "tune" it covered more ground (like timing, transmission, etc). And to JB4s credit they have never claimed to do more than boost (but like COBB, they do bring a LOT of turbo-world experience to it - it's not "just another boost module").

I like the MPT but just posted on the other thread issues I have had with my MPT tune with N Gauge. Runs great but if you go into sport mode it misfires and goes into limp mode. MPT blamed spark plugs or coil packs but dealer found nothing going on and without tune sport mode works great. Kind of a bummer as I really liked the power from the tune but if you cant even run sport mode without the truck misfiring that is a problem.

Not thrilled to hear this. I am in process of switching over from Whipple to MPT right now.

What spark plugs and gap were you running with the MPT tune?

Are you on the 93PR-X?
