Hello all,

I just picked up a 2014 in Terrain color with 801A package, well the wifey did. I am overseas at the moment but will get my hands on it in a month. Always wanted one so I finally bit the bullet (big fan of the EcoBoost but out of my price range). I am a huge automobile nut and have owned some awesome rides in the past but this one is the first one that will remain stock, for the most part (already ordered a 5 star tune).

The two vehicles I had prior to this are a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie with 6 inch lift, 22 inch wheels and 37 inch tires. It was an awesome truck but something somewhat difficult for the wifey to drive and hard for my two boys to get in and out of. Before that was a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock with 2 inch lift and 35 inch tires and more money in lighting upgrades than should have been.

This truck will most likely be one that will have a long stay. I look forward to scouring the site and gaining more knowledge on this awesome truck.

Thanks guys. She is amazing. I was actually looking at an EcoBoost F150 that was much cheaper. The dealership sold it during our talks and she presented this to me and wanted me to get it. Have to say, although I really wanted an EcoBoost, I am 100 percent happy with the choice. Now a new Raptor with the EcoBoost would have been amazing, unfortunantely it is out of my price range. Ready to get back home and see what is it like with the tune.

I have an ecoboost. Had a 2014. Im going back to the V8. I like the way it feels and sounds. The power might be significant to some people but to me it’s not worth the feel of the V8 rumble. I’ll probably pimp my next one out and really enjoy it. I think you will love this truck. If they go back to the V8 (as rumored 7.0L) I’ll be buying a new one again. Lol

While I do enjoy the V8 sound, there is nothing I enjoy more than the sound of turbos. EcoBoost with aftermarket downpipes and catless exhaust sounds great.
