Well, I didn't tune, but the reason I didn't tune is in case something went sideways with my '18 Raptor a tune couldn't be blamed. Well of course, the worst happened and things went sideways and my Raptor's been in the shop for going on 8 weeks now(Can't blame any tune that isn't on it!), a little over 22k miles. Cam phasers and fuel injector pump, both on backorder. From what I'm seeing it's probably the early build 2018's that are having the most problems. Sorry about that, but I just have to rant where I can sometimes..

Now that you’ve been running for A while...

I’m curious... what’s your impression of it? You’ve tuned multiple platforms yourself over the years with Cobb.

In your opinion.... truth.... is MPT getting it done?

Yes, on a stock vehicle, MPT has it nailed with their PRX tunes.

That said, when Cobb releases their AccessPort for the Raptor, I'll be the first in line to buy one. The only thing even remotely negative about the MPT setup (for me only) is they use the HPTuners software where I much prefer the Cobb User Interface. Where MPT "simply" utilizes the HP software to tune the vehicle(s), Cobb does in-depth analysis of every vehicle they support and develop their own proprietary code as needed to do things the basic tuners just can't do with their off-the-shelf tuning software like launch control, flat-foot shifting, etc.

All this is NOT a hit on MPT though. They set up the tune as near perfect as possible using the tools they have available, so IMO they deserve everyone's business that are NOT going to do their own tuning.

Cobb is OG. I’ll be second in line! People that haven’t been into scoobies or diamond stars don’t understand.

Mine was built in Apr 18 and thought about getting someone to custom tune it, but where is your evidence of early 2018 builds having issues?
