Anyone with king Shocks around NYC

^ exactly if I eventually step up my shocks game up I am def going with Fox too. I have heard many others have these noise issues as well with King and that's not something you want on a 70K truck that is driven on the street.

You guys are missing that you’ll have the same noises with Fox icon whomever.

My gen 1 with Fox 3.0 were just as loud.

All bypass shocks will click a bit, also the helm joints as opposed to the rubber bushings may clank a smidge. These are far better for offloading that the stock setup and the Kings are superior in quality to the Fox's. If you know anything about shocks and how Kings builds their stuff and materials they use, you'll quickly see why they the premier manufacturer of offload suspension. Love my setup other than the front reservoir hose making contact with the coil. King said not to worry, however I am not sure over time the coil won't eat through the hose.

My fox 3.0 rears are noisy too. Once i realized it is normal the noise does not bother me at all. If you set the rears to full stiff, there will be no noise, It’s liken having no shocks tho but i did it as a test. The softer you set the rears the more they click.

this is true, I never went full stiff, but did go full loose and the noise increased. It sounds like something is loose, but I notice as the shock warms up, the noise subsided. So
Either drive in warm weather or go off roading.

I used to have the King OEM series on my 2018 f150 and they never made any noise, not sure how they accomplished that, I guess the bypasses just click and rattle a bit. Oh well, the truck rides like it’s on a cloud and nothing unsettled it any longer. As a matter of fact minor hits that used to be condensed a jump with my stock suspension, my truck doesn’t even leave the ground anymore. By far the best choice for an off road capable setup in my opinion.

i'm in NYC, and man my raptor sounds like a loose bucket of bolts! i have fox 3.0 in the back and fox secondary shocks in the front with external bypass.
