i was at discount tire yesterday getting a nail removed from my tire and I had asked the guy there if he had any ideas if there would be a 315/70-17 KO2 and he showed me on his com p that they have been recently added to the discount computer system however they don't show an availability date yet. He claims that its very likely they will release within the next 3-6 months. Take this info for what it's worth.

Oct 1 has come and gone. However, the tires in 315/70/17 does appear on the BFG webstie again. But none of the dealers have the tires in their system yet...

The fit to the rim will be the same as they are both sized to a 17" wheel.

A 315/70/R17 converts to 34.4x12.4 R17

So by going with a 35x12.5 R17 it is the difference of 0.6in taller and 0.1in wider. This is negligible on the truck.

Ultimately they are the same thing just defined in metric or standard.

Yes they will fit stock wheels, 315/70/17's are virtually identical to 35/12.50/17. It's basically just a different way to say the same thing.

Some folks say that 37" BFG's on OEM rims will fit with mid perch.
