Hi everyone, I live in Seattle, need tires for wet, snow, off road. Looking for 20" with a nice looking tread. I love the look of the Toyo mud terrain, but don't think they'll do well in snow. Suggestions?

One of the things you have to think about is keeping the tires in balance. I know a few guys with big tires and they cant keep them in balance at all. When you have that problem you have to have the tires trues up and that involves shaving rubber off... Now if ya dont drive on the road a lot its not a big deal...

You could always use equal in your tires..

"Equal is a dry polymer that can be injected into tires directly through the valve stem or placed into the tire cavity before the tire is mounted. Once inside the tire cavity, centrifugal force moves the Equal across the tread width and around the circumference of the tire, responding to force variations caused by irregularities within the tire, the road, and even the load. As the tires and wheels spin, Equal constantly repositions inside the tire as the load and speed change to maintain a stable footprint without vibrations."

Are the toyo mt good on the road? This is going to be 90% road and highway.

I personally think the truck looks better with 20" wheels. Personal I guess.

Yes, on some rotten hard to balance super swampers.. It did the trick even though the truck still rode like an ox cart.

Might not be that good with a Raptor now that I think about it a little more... Frequent rotation and rebalancing would be the best..

Ive been reading about it and they say its awesome... Can lower tire pressure with no problems... Very interesting... I might try this with my next set of tires...

Same principle as DynaBeads. Little ceramic beads you pour in the tire. I guess it works like a harmonic dampner. Neat concept.

^^ Agreed. I think the BFGs are one of the best "all around" tires. They also last forever. :peace:

LAST FOREVER??? I have 9000 miles on mine and they are 60% done. I have never had any milage from any tire on anything I own. Hummm? Is it the tires or me?
