I was wondering if they had ever figured this out. I guess not.

Did they give you a loaner?

Yukon Joe

Lol loaner? No. I'm getting it back tomorrow and bringing it to a friends shop to fix. Peice of shit dealerships! Now I have to pay to have it fixed properly. What a joke!

Well I don't know if anyone is still subscribed to this thread but I finally got a definite answer to why I had water in both pumpkins. I went to a powertrain company thats been around for 20+ years and exlained everything to them. Without hesitation I got a answer from 3 guys that work there all at once. “ if things are hot and you go in water it will suck water in!“ no question about it at all. If you get water up to your driveshaft or axle seals it can suck it in. So that's it, if you have gone in water up to your running boards I'd seriously consider checking your fluids.

Dave, after reading your thread, I thought I better check my fluids. The front diff was milky. BS I called, but the dealer couldn't do anything, even with a tech bulletin on the regular f150s about milky front differential fluid.

They say it was from the chalk the factory uses to mark the gears. Sounds kinda lame to me. How much chalk are they using??
