I certainly drive my toys, but I try to do it within reason. If we had more time then maybe it would be fun for me and my nephew to take a week and just screw off and drive it back at our leisure. But unfortunately we both have commitments that will require a "straight there and straight back" scenario, which certainly is not enjoyable.

While it might not be the most enjoyable, all we can leave our family and friends is memories. I would make the drive but that's just me.

I've never looked at vehicles as investments. More like fun toys to be used up (ish). Then again have only had one that was over six digits. To me, the trip WITH the nephew doing something "cool" would be worth the miles alone.
I'm with you on the part about not looking at them as investments. I regularly drive most of my toys, and that enjoyment certainly has value. That being said, I do make every effort to buy them at the right price so that if I do decide to sell it later, I dont get clobbered. Sometimes that philosophy works, and sometimes I still get clobbered anyways lol

Here's another rat rod that my buddy is trying to sell me. I'm probably going to get it in a few weeks but at the moment I have serious storage problems lol. This is a 28 Model A with a big block. I got him to put baffles in the zoomies since these photos were taken as it was so loud it made your ears bleed lol

That’s pretty sick. Seats need a little more bolstering…

What kind of helicopter do you have?
