Official 2023 Raptor R Order Thread

I'm a July 2022 order date, one of two confirmed allocations at my dealership, and have heard nothing except that the dealership is still waiting. No build date, just unscheduled - clean. Even when I contact Ford Performance they basically apologize because they have no info either.

If Ford said, "hey, we're building your truck in October 2023 and you'll have it by December 2023" I'd actually be happy with that and wait it out. It's been 10 months, I honestly would be fine to wait another 6 more if I had some clarity on expectations.

I'm sure a lot of engineers are hard at work on whatever issues are going on, just bummed there can't be better communications with customers about the issues.

I’m right there with you. I’ve quit asking and checking with FP. No one at Ford, FP or the dealership has information that is worth a damn. This forum has been more helpful than ford. I just wish they would give us some piece of info and not leave us hanging.

July order here, still waiting with no info either. I'd imagine Ford will do everything they can to get them out by this fall, before they roll into the 24s. but who knows, they (FORD) certainly doesn't.

I don't think ford could care less about customer base anymore. They fired the entire staff on orders a while back and now not only does nobody have a clue what's going on they could care less either!
It's been a total disaster with a all new crew and what a mistake they have made. Now its the go woke and go broke crew from the top down.

I'm personally pretty skeptical mine will get built at this point so I am planning to go find a regular Raptor on a lot this weekend to tide me over. Wish I had done that 6 months ago had I known this would be the wait.

Just hunkering down and expecting it'll slip to MY24 at this point, though I'd be happy to be surprised otherwise!

Today is the Blend date, and modules have already been loaded. It's scheduled for completion today. We will see what happens.

Your 10 months in and no updates? How many R's did your dealer allowacate?
Did you at least get your order confirmation from Ford after your dealer took the order? Did your dealer ask for your Drivers license? My dealer requested it, they said Ford required my D.L so I don't scalp the truck.

Has anyone been using VinView - My dealer just set me up with it.

As it turns out, Vehicle Visibility, the program many dealers have been using to track new vehicles, was discontinued on Feb 1st, 2023.

This system has been replaced by VINView, which came out back in October to give dealers four months to adopt it before Vehicle Visibility went away. This system gives dealers better real-time tracking info and the ability to share real-time updates with their customers.

How long did it take to get your VIN after you received your order confirmation email from Ford? This is what I got but haven't heard anything since and the dealer says you get the VIN shortly before you go into production, is this sound like what you went through?
