How am i biased by the way lol? I own a freaking raptor...I've owned more ford's than Toyotas lol. I just happen to have both. I sold my 2010 Harley Davidson Edition F250 when I got home from Afghanistan. Only.thing I'm biased on is College Football..Roll Tide! NFL Chiefs! And the Army is the best lol....oh and Tank is the most handsome dog period lol

What data is that? I was offered three trade in values for my pristine 2018 gen 2 lead foot with 51k miles on it. 43k, 46k, 48.5k, I ended up selling it to another dealer for 51k. It is probably in Texas or Mexico as a cartel truck and/ or desert beater,
Traded in for 51? How is that 50% of original sale price? Did you pay 102k for the truck?

I know you didn't, but throwing out numbers willy nilly is no bueno. I sold my '18 privately for 46k with 103k miles, and this was after the bottom was falling out of used prices. Paid 68 for it new.

I think it was a 5.4
I'm not sure if a 5.4 was an option for the 2012 really. Fordtechone would know better than me. I know mine was a 5.0 coyote motor. The gearing in the tundra I think made all difference in the power difference truly. I'd be curious if a 5.0 with 4:10 gears is similar to the Tundra truly.

What was the msrp on your ‘18? It was much lower than any Gen 3 I can tell you that. Gen 3’s won’t fall as low as used Gen 2’s, just like used Gen 2’s never fell as low as used Gen 1’s. Your truck getting offers for 43-51 will be like a Gen 3 in the future at the same age being offered 58-66.

Raptors have never sold used in the 50% of msrp point at any point over the last decade unless they’re clapped out to hell with well over 100k.

Wrong ...I owened a 2012 f150....I didn't own an 07 f150 to compare exactly same years as far as tech and stuff View attachment 403955
Then why speculate?

And please stop with the “space shuttle” farce. It was staged. The Tundra’s frame can’t pass even a 15 year old Ford durability test.

Gen 3s with the same mileage will be bringing that same money 4-5 years from now. Oh and you aren't buying a Gen 3 for less than MSRP these days and some even have ADM new, I see peps all the time buying Gen 3 Raptors and immediately listing them for sale. GMs for other dealerships driving the Raptor, or what have you selling used Gen 3 Raptors for what they paid or few grand more. Occasionally you will see a nice used one come up reasonably priced but it is snatched up with minutes or seconds sometimes.
