These springs are very difficult to paint (actually prep) day 2..
.springs occupy bay 3. Bay 4 Kawasaki 600rr...haha I purchased a 7 inch, 6 and stock length shackle set for articulation test soon to post...

What paint are you using? That trim paint? Will that hold up to the abuse?
I have had good luck with the SEM. I would powdercoat them with a base and a clear if I wanted the best, SEM is used on front bumpers and I use it on my undercarriage to touch up damage, pimp out truck, ect. Holds up better than any store bought paint in a can..only drawback is $20 a can..that plastadripshit sucks btw
