It is hard to get solid info on road noise etc, of couse I have realized that I will be 95% on road as this vehicle will be my daily driver. I was initally looking at the Toyo OC MT but it seems those things weigh a ton.

I would like an aggressive tread with low road noise, is this even possible? I realize most anything I get is going to be louder than stock, a little louder is ok.

The only think I can find in that category are the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ.

I just put on goodyear duratracs...they aren't super aggressive but still have pretty good tread depth..road noise is very minimal over stock and they are a super smooth ride

Do any of the other light truck tires have as good a speed rating as the stock BFGs?

In my experience, the Mickey Thompsons are generally quiter tires. But, this is because the softer compound they use has alot of give to it. So in turn you tend to be giving up the longevity of the tire, as they tend to wear sooner.

1 vote for BFG KM2s.

Aggressive tread, only slightly louder than stock.

And the pricetag is a bit higher unfortunately...

In my searching, I forgot about the duratracs! I think it will be a toss up between these 2.
