GEN 2 Dual Diode Dynamics SS3 pods

Just posting my dual bumper pods, for anyone considering this setup.
I've never liked the look of 3 lights crammed in there, because half of the outside one is obstructed, and the inside beam pattern of the inner light is also obstructed.
I looked all over for a pic with just duals but never found any so I just went for it.
DD SS3 Pro Driving on the inside, DD SS3 Sport SAE Fog on the outside. I got both in white and then I have covers since everything gets sandblasted here. I have yellow and clear covers for the fog.

The fogs (in white) are a great driving supplement to the stock headlights - they have a sharp horizontal cutoff, but very wide spread. They can be left on all the time as a legal low beam.
The pro driving lights are a great supplement (or really just replacement) to the high beams and I run them a bit wider than the stock high beams. I feel the stock lights don't have an adequate spread compared to any other vehicle I've had.

I aligned them like this to minimize obstruction to either beam pattern.

i run 2 sets of Pro Sae as my fogs. Haven't been highbeamed yet. Great beam pattern.

+1 on the Diode Dynamics. I’ve been very happy with my fog and pro driving lights. Very nice supplement to headlights and have never been flashed. I only use one of the sets at a time.

Does the lights with the brackets "jiggle" with rougher or uneven roads?

I noticed that the light pattern moves a lot when travelling on choppy roads. Mounts are solid and i'm assuming the bumper and or wing ends are the ones moving.

Not if you have good mounting brackets and everything is properly mounted.

You can absolutely mount 3 lights and have ALL 3 unobstructed. 3 BD Squadrons and a Fabworks mounting bracket from nick-apollo-optics. It takes a lot of fiddling to get them just right.

Not if you have good mounting brackets and everything is properly mounted.

That's what i was thinking. The mounts and lights are SOLIDLY in place, BUT you can bend/flex the bumper ends. I'm thinking thinking that's where the jiggle is coming from.

If you look underneath there are rods with slots in them to stabilize the bumper ends. It's also how you adjust the angle of the bumper ends Check and make sure they are attached and tight.

I installed a pair of DD SSC2 Sport combo lens White/Amber-backlight on DIY brackets aligned with the OEM headlights in the bumper slots as they're the same size and I wanted the OEM look. I don't off road at night and I wanted DRLs to augment the OEM lighting.
When I tested them at night however I was surprised how well they worked, really illuminate the sides and near 100' in front as well as supplementing the low beam OEM illumination pattern.

Great lights and the company support couldn't have been better. I also purchased LED DRL bulbs and resistors from DD for my Tacoma, again a home run.
