I hope it’s worth more than 50hp than some have claimed to see spec wise in the F-150. Of course TQ can be considerably more.

I couldn’t care less about fuel mileage but if the new suspension setup rides better than my 19 which rides great but nonetheless I’ll bite on 700 plus hp in a v8 raptor

The one thing I thing that's overlooked with the TRX is the ergonomics. Not really spoken of often if at all with these truck reviews, but seating position, and the ability to have comfortable hand, arm, and especially leg position is critical. This is one area where I can say for certain having owned both a 2020 RAM in Limited trim, and now the Raptor (with the F150 interior for the most part) is that the RAM and TRX have terrible foot placement issues. Nothing to brace your heel on, and nothing to brace your left leg on while flying over rough terrain. The Raptor really hugs you by comparison, and is a lighter, more nimble truck.

The RAM is a glorified drag-racer IMO

Agree, those motors make anything they put it into flat out fast. That’s a given you get out of an FCA car with that power plant.

But we are most likely at a peak with engines and regulation will start to kill things off. It’s the dawn of a new day. We have a new sherif in town it appears. Sad in ways but true.

Would be cool if Ford embraced the new Whipple Gen 5 3.0L and put it on the 5L,
then the Gen 3 Raptor would have more power and be lighter.
