I'm definitely happy with it, but mine was frustrating lol.

I was installing the winch when you commented.. here's it all done. I ordered a thimble and will be installing it tomorrow.. those factory tow hooks are useless now.

2 things to note.. the winch holes are 5/8s off center of the fairlead so that was fixed. And the fairlead holes were 1/2" too high l, so I used a dye grinder to slot the holes.

Looks great. That sucks that the fairlead isn't perfectly aligned. Are the factory tow hooks no longer retained with 2 bolts? I had spoke with ADD a while back about doing that bumper but have the front mount for the lights set up so I could get some of those big VisionX bulbs up front like an old Baja truck.

@badm0t0rfinger the tow hooks are still in place with the factory bolts. I'll try fishing a soft sling through tomorrow to see if they still work. If not ill remove them since you can't get a metal shackle on.

Some big 6 inch rounds would look sweet! You'll be happy with the bumper, especially if you don't go with the winch option. Tons of room for lights lol.

I do need a winch, but I'd like to have one. Plus no frame cut.

I almost exclusively use soft shackles now because I've seen what a regular shackle does when it fails!

Im definitely happy with my smittybilt X2O winch. The wireless remote is awesome and super easy to install

I have a SuperWinch 9.5 with wireless set up on it as well. I only went with the 9.5 since I had it left over from a previous build, but I'm gonna probably upgrade to a 12k winch when I get the bumper. Those Warn Platinums are amazing....

Nice wheels! I havnt seen too many other raptors running the icons.

what bumper kit is that?

To be honest I didn’t REALLY like them when I saw it at the shop, but the more I look at them the more I do like them. I think the silver flares with bronzed wheels just threw me off at first. the bumper kit is from AlliedOffroad... used to be WSI which I know a number of members here are familiar with. I was neighbors with Jimmy for a while and just moved out of that neighborhood a couple months ago. Super cool guy. Got front and rear kits from him, should be picking up the rear next week. Also running his HD leaf pack, love them.

Oh man. WSI has a light bar for the bed I really liked but could never figure out where to buy one. I’m gonna dig into the new name and see if I can find it.

next time you talk to him can you ask about the bed mount light bar they used to have? Or maybe they have a new one?

any thoughts on paint matching your flares? I left mine white when I went with new glass. Def a clean look all black with bronze wheels. That’s my plan on my next truck.

Picked up the truck today, after 5 days at the dealer getting the recall for the trans done, 0$ cost, this throttles just as good now without the pedal commander
