I’m going to do a rear seat and have a custom built dog kennel installed in the scab. I want to run ac through the roof into the kennel, thoughts on how to do this?

Yes, the smart one drives. Is that where you stay during work?
I’ve seen these but they get clogged with hair and aren’t super reliable. He's obviously a K9 officer or something. My buddy who owns a kennel had a similar setup.
If your work ride is an Expedition with the headliner mounted AC vents than that setup makes sense, I think a side mounted setup would be easier to accomplish in a Scab. You could probably cut the ducting at the rear of the center console and transition it to a tube to the kennel.
Or something like this:

yeah I don’t need a remote door just something that will reliably keep him cool, my inside intact and everyone safe.Maybe just mount a couple 5" box fans pulling air into the box directly behind the rear console air vents? Should be enough flow and shouldn't get clogged easily. You could have the fabricator mount them in a separate metal box with a grate between the dog and the fans to stop the hair.
I kind of assume this is a permanent setup and modifying the truck isn't really a concern. On the Scab you really can't do the remote door system unless it does both doors.
