You said your 19 is 49/50 truck. Are you punking us here? WTAF? Unless you mean your truck is 49 AND 50? FWIW, 49/50 ≠ 49 & 50

Ok. I see your point however I was referencing how CA CARB defines it.

THEY define it as a 49 & 50 and that how I was using the term and that’s, sort of, how the sticker is under the hood that CARB and the DMV will look for when the out of state truck goes to get registered unless it falls under one of the exceptions.

CARB only cares if it is a 50 state emissions vehicle, which every raptor made is. Your post just confuses.

This must be some sort of Deep State super secret code.

Again. CARB and the DMV needs, must, shall, see the sticker on the truck that says CALIFORNIA for it to be register in CALIFORNIA

you’re just being thick and and obtuse at this point.

I, having had to register an out of state car, was subjected to having to show this sticker, which shows CA specifically and implicitly on it. In little words for you, 50 state AND Ca.

Again. The words CALIFORNIA must be on it.

I posted the link to the CA dmv, a state where I live and did this same process as the OP is asking about, last year on a Mercedes.

If you don’t like how I worded something, that’s your issue. Go pop a pamperin and take a nap if your ***** hurts so much over it.

The truck can say 50 state spray painted on the side for all you seem to care about. CARB needs to see it it Say “50 and Ca”

to the OP, have the dealer take a pic of that sticker and you will know.

if it says 50 only, you can gamble and get it. If it says 50 and Ca, you are good

I am so lost with this thread. Am I watching a Joe Biden interview?
You too?

if the f-ing sticker under the f-ing hood says f-ing 50 state and CA, he can get the f-ing truck

if the f-ing sticker under the f-Ing hood says 50 state only, it’s not going to fly but hey, give the OP bad info from never having go through the process yourself or live in another state but hey a forum battle is always good right? What’s next, your going to say he won’t need to pay Ca sales tax on an out of state purchase too?

This is also true about the tax as long as he insures his truck with an off-shore insurance company.
