Ok so my first Raptor (been a chevy guy since 1992)gets delivered in May then my wife and I are going to do a 2 week trip out west, for some fire road and offroad fun. So I need some suggestions on Baja D lights and front bumpers, I have the 802A package to the I am not looking to relocate the camera,, sounds like a pain in the ass to me. I could care less if my ACC works 100% or not, I have that in my jeep and HATE It.

I am also looking for the best skid plate options, I understand that this is not the specific place for that but lights are more important than the skids right now

I have a 20” Baja designs onx6+ in a ADD pro bolt on and that thing lights up the ****** neighborhood like crazy so I couldn’t imagine what the bigger sizes will do. I have been through 2 skid plates with different bumpers and have bent them both. They do their job of protecting what’s behind them but just don’t hold up to good off road abuse.

Welcome to the family bud. You're going to love your Raptor. So we're big Baja Designs fans over here at 4x4TruckLEDs.com - I've been around automotive lighting over 20 years now and when I say something kicks ass, you can take that to the bank.

Baja Designs are just awesome as they have a lifetime warranty, are made in America and you can change the lenses out whenever you want. Rigid Industries is also a top brand as well but Baja just gives you a BIT MORE for less $$ and more features.

You could run our SPP Triple Fog Light Kit which includes Baja Designs lights. The brackets are made in America and while similar to the Baja Designs branded brackets, offers you a LITTLE BIT more flexibility in how your lights are aimed (and how you control them). The brackets let you slide the lights around so you can center them in the bumper opening and you can control the lights from 3 independent upfitter switches. Not to mention YOU get to pick/choose which lights you want (we can help you pick).

You can also throw an N-FAB Bracket on and mount any combination of lights you want. Shown below is our demo truck running our SPP Triple Fog Light Kit, Baja Designs lights and the LP9s (from Baja Designs). BUT you can mount a bunch of Squadron lights as well.

There are also bolt on kits from Baja. A 10" OnX6 bar that goes in the lower grille OR a 30" S8 bar that goes behind the upper grille. Everything i've mentioned allows you to KEEP your ACC if you want and the front camera (although depending on what you mount to the N-FAB bracket you may or may not block the camera).

Shoot me a message, email me ([email protected]) or call (866-991-4331) and I can help ya out.

2012 SCAB owner still loving my 6.2L...I put in Rigid Industries fog and spots. Lifetime guarantee. Never had a problem. Spots light up the parish, definitely not for highway use.
Did the out West thing for a honeymoon . ..top of Pikes Peak to bottom of Death Valley . Enjoy!

Those are the brackets we sell (SPP = Specialty Performance Products). We keep tons of the brackets in stock at all times and offer them with Rigid or Baja Designs lights. You can even mix/match Baja/Rigid if you want to or mix/match the Rigid Radiance with D-Series. We can customize the harness prior to shipping it for you so it's all plug and play.

You have a fair amount of choices...
1) Keep the stock bumper, and run light kits on the side openings
2) Replace the bumper with a direct bolt replacement on and use the light brackets that come with that bumper
3) Replace the stock bumper with one that requires you to relocate the factory Intercooler(IC) and again use the brackets on the new bumper
4) Retain the stock bumper and install 10" BD light bar in front of the factory IC.
5) Anything above and add "A" pillar light brackets to run 2 individual
lights...
6) Install a 30" BD light bar behind the radiator grille.

Hers a pic of my trk with the 10" light bar in frt of the IC, and the "A" pillar brackets with XL80 Laser lights
The light bar installs behind the plastic grill but I cut the grille open for my install....
