Surely you didn't mean to type 1000rwhp right? Stock trans?
I questioned that too... I then thought OP just meant he expected 100+ rwhp on top of what the stock output was. I was just guessing though. But right, surely not 1000 rwhp haha.

ROUGHLY 100HP is a realistic number considering the cubic inch, race heads and cams, and headers, this is the rough quote from Livernois. Already spoke to the transmission question.

Just found this thread - I would think your torque curve would be a big improvement over the entire power range with a 4" stoke. I haven't had one of the motors apart but I can not figure why the piston diameter is so small considering the boar spacing. I guess fuel emissions. Has anyone sonic tested the block to see how thick the cylinders are?
I'm at 70,000 miles and I figure an engine replacement at around 110,000 miles. Gives me 2-3 years to rebuild a another engine if my driving habits don't change. Used long blocks can be found for $2,500.00 everywhere. Used transmissions are cheap too. Surprisingly low cost. I should be able to sell the original equipment for a similar amounts.

Were are expecting a huge difference in the overall torque and the curve as you stated. According to Livernois with the 6.6, intake, cat back, and tune you can add 150tq. So add a few more from the headers and complete 3” no cat system. Should be finalized next week.

Is the cam profile proprietary or could you post the specs?
11.5 /1 compression ratio will be very dependent upon the cam profile chosen.
My truck will be close to 7000 Lbs with my 200 + LBs fat ass included. I planned to Whipple on my rebuild.
12,000 Winch, dual bed mounted batteries, 3000 Watt inverter, bumpers, shell and storage boxes, upgrade shocks & springs ECT. a lot of frigin weight. I plan on adding a 20 gallon fuel tank where the spare tire is + a small air tank. I use my truck for work quite a bit. I should have bough a F250 because my utilization has change in the last 5 years. My raptor currently has difficulty getting out of it's own way - Stock engine.
The only adder for my engine rebuild is the crank. Pistons and rods will be the same cost no matter the stroke. I won't do the heads - leave that to capable people.

They don’t have any specs on the cams on their website, I do know that I got the complete race heads paired with them which should make a big difference. But yes the pistons were selected for a non boost setup. I do know the pistons and rods were NOT cheap, ceramic coated Ross pistons, billet Manley rods.
I too carry a lot of weight, full bed rack with 2 37s spares, offroad jack, removable winch that quick attaches to front mount. Never saw the need for an additional tank beyond the 36gal, I do also carry 10gal when offroad though. Going to get it weighed when motors done and see what the weight is.

Not to thread jack you but do you have any additional info on your winch set up?

I like that a lot. Very functional. If I had that setup I might be tempted to rig up a detachable light hoop to run in the hitch when you're not using the winch.

Can't wait to hear how your 6.6 turns out. Keep us posted!
