Gawd DAMN! $60,000! That's INSANE!

Seems alot of people are paying alot more than $60,000, look at this from a dealer in louisiana yesterday...nutz....

Just figured the price of 2013 truck I want to order...
W1R F150 RAPTOR CRW $46240
Oxford white
Black interior
801A Equip. group, aka Luxury package $4760
Moonroof $995
Tailgate step $375
FRNT&RR Camera $525
17" Forged Alum $1165
del. $995
TOTAL $55,055
Thats only $1000 more than what I was going to order for 2012 (MSRP $53,955, invoice $48,590) and the main difference is the $1165 Forged Alum wheels.
If I opt out of the new wheels and go with stock, then price is actually less than the 2012. It would be $53,890 with the standard 2012 wheels, and imagine invoice price about the same as 2012, around $48,500-$49,000.
I can live with that!

Paying a dealer markup / market adjustment is just STUPID and if you / someone pays that they deserve to be screwed.

I laughed in the salesman face and told him he was nutz to charge for that "market adjustment" crap!
I will either go thru Randy or order thru my local dealer for $300 over invoice, but not thru that "other" louisiana dealer.

That "market adjustment" is bait for impulse buyers with the I-HAVE-to-have-it-RIGHT-NOW syndrome.

Going through Randy and getting $3K off MSRP is much better than most dealers will do, and as many many people on this forum have stated, a much more pleasurable (and informed) experience.

I have a feeling you're gonna sell a LOT of Raptors this year, Randy. :burnout:

Hey guys, I'm confused on the pricing. Does the luxury package include the 8" screen with MFT or is that part of the Sony Navigation system. Is the 801A package a combination of the luxury and sony navigation package?

Hey guys, it looks like the base price for the scab went up about $360 or so. The luxury package is the same price as before but now includes an 8 inch touch screen and navigation, plus HID lights. Before you had to pay an extra $2,500 to get navigation and the touch screen. Am I understanding this correct?

Yep correct, plus 2013 has reverse sensors incl.

If you look @ the 2013 Tux Black Crew Cab with standard wheels and No decals

Hi Randy, sorry I actually changed my post. I thought that navigation was included in the luxury package now for $2970 but it looks like it's not. I'm still confused if you get the 8" screen with MFT with the luxury package or not.

No & yes...lol

For 2013, the 801A Pkg forces you to get Lux pkg and MFT w/8" for $4760.00

But the ONLY way to get the Lux Pkg, is in the 801A Pkg level.

If your order the 800A pkg, VERY limited options available.

======= I don't think I posted up a 2013 Build with the 800A Pkg yet ===========

I have a feeling you're gonna sell a LOT of Raptors this year, Randy. :burnout:
One dealer I went to on Wed had two Raptors on the lot, one with a $10k market adjustment and the other with a $5k adjustment. The salesman initially told me it wasn't negotiable and every dealer charges them. He told me there was no way I was going to find one without that charge. I promptly searched for other dealers on my phone and called them and nobody else in the Denver area was charging it, and in fact one salesman offered me $1k off sticker for the single Raptor he had on the lot without me even negotiating. Another dealer said they had 3 at the railhead in CO awaiting delivery and the one in the color I wanted was $53,*** and he'd sell it to me for $51-52k again without me trying to negotiate.

It really killed me with the first dealer because I'm always up front with dealers and tell them right away I buy new cars at least once a year and have bought 20+ new cars in my life and I hate the BS that comes with buying cars and know all the games, so don't try or I'll just walk out. Yet he still tried several different BS tactics which resulted in me walking out the door and I'll never go back. (This was at Long Ford in Denver which I'd never recommend buying from based on my experience!)
