Why did ford put a 6.2 in the raptor instead of the ecoboost engine?

I think the 6.2 is a solid motor, and I am glad we have it. I would stay away from an ecoboost option if there was one because they really haven't been around for very long so who knows how they are long term. Just more stuff to potentially go wrong.

Hey, my ranger does damn well with its v6! And it sounds beastly to.

But I wouldn't want a turbo v6.
I'd want a turbo diesel.
Been getting the 4bt bug again....
