Im definitely out of touch these days with car or truck sound systems, however my 2023 seems a little laking in overall sound quality for a truck close to 100k. Im not looking at thumping through my neigborhood, adding amps and subwoofers, I just want a nice full sounding surround sound without spending thousands of dollars. First off, the native sound seems too front speaker centric to me. I adjusted the Fade to more back speakers and it does sound a little better but...Damn, I really had to drag that slider to the very back for the sound to equal out. I lost so much front speaker "depth" in doing so. Makes me think theres a HUGE back speaker opportunity? Could it be as simple as replacing the back speakers with a better quality speaker? Would replacing the speakers in this truck with higher quality speaker do the trick? Thoughts?

100 grand on truck.....I don't want to spend thousands. To help that stereo, you would need to replace all the mids and highs, add amps and a subwoofer of some sort. A basic system would run you $3500 "installed".

there is no easy. and sound in a vehicle is not surround sound. there needs to be a frint stage to give height width and depth of the sound stage. in a vehicle it should sould like you are sitting watching them play in front of you surround sound is for home theater. dont try to compare the two.

im in thornton, you can come by anytime to listen to mine and get an idea of how it should sound

Sound deaden the doors and get the door hole blockers from sounds good? not real easy but cost effective at least.

No magic bullets here. I started w 3k budget and am over double it and waiting for my plug and play system from soundsgoodstereo lol.
1K is the gateway drug to 3k then 10k! I'm considering a blow-through now. lol
