What is this yellow plastic piece?

Thank you. Been driving with it out for a while now - think I should be concerned or just leave it as is?

@moonjim, can't speak for Ford. But here in GM land. Some door panel and other bits are held on with yellow "high tension" retaining clips. Not sposed to be reused. Buuut they seem to hold on nice and tight if not damaged in a pinch.

The flare has a bunch of those on it, so missing one isn't going to be an issue, leave as is.

Ya those clips are about every 4-6" around the flare. I had to replace a flare as it got scrapped up pretty bad. I was surprised it was only $200. Took about 5 min to swap it.
