USB Not Charging When the Key is Off

Has anyone had any issues with the USB port not charging when the key is off? I have an IPOD touch hooked up through my USB port in my 2014 Raptor and it charges and works fine with the key on, but when off it doesnt charge and the battery drains and every time I start back up it re-indexes. In my 2012 Raptor it charged via the USB even with the truck off. Anyone else had this problem or know of the issue or fix I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

yeah, that's normal, it's not a hot port when the truck is turned off. It is what it is...

thanks I appreciate it. That bites. The 2012 model was hot. I think I will go the USB ScanDisk device I read earlier and see if that is a better solution. Thanks for the quick feedback.
