Tailpipe Rattle

Whenever I go over some rough pavement I get a rattle from my rear passenger side. Got under the truck and the tailpipe heat shield by the spare rattles when I hit the tailpipe. Anyone remove these shields, or should I just put a hose clamp on it? The rattle drives me nuts.
