i go to the dunes 2 or 3 times a year, and this truck has been up there probably 12 times over the last 4 years of ownership..

i didnt hit any of the big jumps, not sure if driving in 4WD had an affect, but why should it really?

Seems unacceptable to me that a diff housing cracks without hitting a bolder or some other impact damage.. the airbags didnt go off so i dont think i sent it too hard bud.. :confused:

Why are they even breaking and cracking. What material are the cases?

cast aluminum.. it appears to me that its a stress crack. theres a few other threads and posts with same crack, and i know of one truck that broke one of the mounting points off.. :shrug:
