Steel crack/break in truck bed damage repair help

When I bought my 2014 the PO had this damage from some custom toolbox setup. Any ideas on repair approach. I don’t need to eat off it...just want it functional and stable. Any ideas? Thanks

Man, my bed is in worse shape. Take a metal sheet and weld it under it and a thin one over it. Then linex the bed to cover it all up.
