Spectacular Adventure-Color Canyon with a Super Bloom

On our way home from Kansas, I noticed that the median and hills in the Desert were having an amazing Wildflower Bloom form all the rain. It was on the AZ side of the Colorado River.
I told the Boss we needed to make a run out to our Favorite Color Canyon. When the Desert has a Super Bloom like this, it’s Spectacular but short lived. So time was of the essence.
We love the Dessert All the time, but the color that explodes in the spring when there is a Super Bloom, is nothing short of Breathtaking.
We hope you enjoy seeing it through my Lens as much as we did on our 6 Hrs on the Trail…
We have mixed emotions as we spend 6 magical hours in the Desert with the Vicious Hounds. This may be one our last Desert Super Blooms as we prepare to head East to Kansas.
I have shared my 30+ year Love Affair of the Desert and our Incredible Country here on the pages of FRF. The Desert will Always hold a piece of my heart.
I hope I am able to return to see another….

If you’ve never seen the Desert in its “Normal” state, you might think it’s nice, but nothing special.
Trust me on this, the greens, yellows purples are not normally here and when they come for just a short time, it’s Spectacular…
